EMPOWERING WOMEN both on and off stage

I don’t know about you, but I like to cyberstalk my people before I hire them!

About Me

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

  • Lady Gaga - Mayhem Ball Tour

  • Dancing with the Stars - Live Tour

  • DancemED Certified

  • Nationally Qualified Bikini competitor - multiple Top 5 placements

  • Former competitive dancer, choreographer and dance instructor

I’m the face behind “Doctor in a Bikini” — and I do things differently.

I’ve lived both sides (performer and clinician), which means I don’t just teach posing. I can correct the underlying asymmetries, prevent further dysfunction and empower you to OWN your body on stage.

I built Posing Prehab because I saw a problem: athletes working incredibly hard, only to struggle on (and off) stage with discomfort, poor movement and lack of confidence.

As both a Doctor of Physical Therapy and bikini competitor, I understand the physical demands behind the scenes. I know what it feels like to want to present your best without sacrificing your body in the process.

P.S. You're already 1% better today, and I'm proud of you... xoxo, Shannon

what is

?

where performance meets precision.

Posing isn’t just about hitting angles! Your overall performance depends on mobility, flow, stabilization and how you perform under pressure.

Posing Prehab is a service that blends movement quality, injury prevention, and posing strategy. I want to make you feel FULLY prepared before show day.

  • Feeling stiff in your back pose?

  • Having trouble maintaining your core on stage?

  • Breath-holding making you look tense?

  • Need help with the basics, like walking in heels?

YEP – BEEN THERE BEFORE! Don’t let these fixable mistakes hold you back from your goals.

To be SO transparent, let’s break down what to expect:

  1. Posing Prehab is a 1:1 on service with me (a biomechanical movement expert)

  2. I spend time listening to your goals, then we work to identify HOW to fix the problem

  3. Based on the impairments, we undergo a series of posing drills and exercises. I like details and accountability, so prepare for lots of communication between us!

Pro tip: Consistency is key.

While some people need a “one and done session”, you are likely here because what you’ve been doing hasn’t been working. To fully retain your results and achieve full posing potential, I recommend scheduling multiple sessions together!
